Xiamen International Convention Center (XICC) is a high-class conference venue of international standards and the largest professional conference venues in Xiamen at present. The venue has been constructed and put into use in 2008 with a construction area of 140,000 ㎡ and it consists of the Convention Center, five-star leisure resort, and the concert hall. XICC is one of the few conference centers that located beside the sea, conveniently located near Xiamen Island Ring Road, and facing the Little Kinmen across the sea from 4,500 meters away. It enjoys superior geographical environment and is rich in the experience of hosting many significant international conferences.
XICC possesses first-class conference facilities as well as an excellent operation and service team. More than 300 events of various kinds have been held here each year, such as, International Investment Forum, the Strait Forum, the 3rd Coordinators Meeting for G20 Summit in 2016, World Friends Convention, the 8th meeting of Attorney General of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, etc. In September 2017, XICC became the main venue of the BRICS summit in Xiamen, and it successfully provided services for nearly 30 major diplomatic activities.
